We have made training workshops and courses for parents, carers and professionals. The training will help you support children of all ages.

We are passionate about upskilling people. We want to help them support all children with their speech, language and communication skills. 

We also have lots of videos available for you to watch and use. Watch our speech and language videos.

Unclear speech can be part of a child’s development. This workshop is for parents of children under 7 who may be hard for others to understand. Training for professionals is open to anyone who works with children such as teachers, teaching assistants, social workers, early years practitioners and child minders.

Supporting children's speech, language and communication skills

Children develop communication in many different ways. The interactions they have and the environments they are in all play a part in supporting the development of these skills. This workshop supports early years professionals to understand how children develop speech, language and communication, and introduces practical strategies to support this.

Our courses are open to professionals working with children such as teachers, teaching assistants, social workers, early years practitioners and child minders. Communication Champions identify and help children with speech, language and communication needs (SLCN).
