Chattertots or little talkers is a set of 3 workshops for parents and carers. These workshops are to help you support your child's early communication skills.

You have been invited to take part in the virtual version of this workshop.

This workshop is held virtually for families unable to attend the face-to-face workshops. To take part in the virtual workshop you will need a device with a camera and microphone such as a smartphone or laptop.

Aim of this workshop

  • Feel confident helping your child at home with their early language skills

Entry criteria

This workshop is for families who have a child:

  • between 18 months and 3 years old
  • who wants to involve you in their play
  • who may need support for listening, understanding and spoken language
  • with social communication needs

Workshop dates

This workshop is delivered through Microsoft Teams. You will need access to a device with a camera and a microphone such as a smartphone or tablet. 

You will receive a Microsoft Teams link and any necessary resources by email. We will send this least 2 days before the workshop starts. Please note, the Microsoft Teams link should only to be used by the person it is sent to. Participants who are not on the attendance list will be removed.

If you want to change who is going to the workshop, please email lneedham@nhs.net with their name and email address as soon as possible. This is so they can be sent all the relevant emails.

The booking window will close 2 working days before the date of the workshop.

If you can't attend a workshop, please email lneedham@nhs.net. Please give us as much notice as possible. Repeated non-attendance may result in restricted access to future workshops.

If the workshop is cancelled, we will give you as much notice as possible. You will also be offered a place on an alternative date.
