This workshop is for professionals only
Talk for all is an intensive course with optional accreditation. It is for any practitioner, including childminders, who work with early years children (1 to 4 years old).
This course builds on our Early years communication and language toolkit training. It is also an optional course for early years communication champions.
Aim of this workshop
- Identify and help children with speech, language and communication needs
- Strengthen your understanding of the impact of speech, language and communication difficulties in children
- Identify children with attention and listening, comprehension, expressive language, phonology difficulties
- Understand and use universal and targeted strategies to help children with attention and listening, comprehension, expressive language, phonology difficulties
- Confidently refer children with attention and listening, comprehension, expressive language, phonology difficulties
- Understand the development of English as a second language and how to help this development in your educational setting

Entry criteria
This workshop is for early years professionals. This includes nursery workers, childminders and early years practitioners.
Workshop dates
The booking window will close 2 working days before the date of the training.
