This workshop is for professionals only
This workshop is for professionals in early years and school age educational settings such as a school or nursery. We will help you understand how to support children with speech sound difficulties.
Aim of this workshop
- Gain an understanding of speech sound development
- Learn strategies and games to support speech sound development at a universal and targeted level
- Gain confidence in when and how to refer for speech and language support
Entry criteria
You may have completed a speech sound screener and have concerns about a child's speech sound development. This is for children up to Key Stage 1 (KS1).
The workshop will benefit children who:
- can speak in short sentences but other people do not understand them
- swap sounds or do not use certain sounds at all
- can focus on an adult-led activity for 5 to 10 minutes
Workshop dates
The booking window will close 2 working days before the date of the training.
Please note, if you do not attend the workshop, you may be charged a penalty fee.
