Children in care
The Children in Care Health team provide the statutory health assessments for children and young people who are in the care of the local authority (also known as County Council, Social Care, Corporate Parent) to support their health and wellbeing.

Professionals - guidance
Our role is to provide the statutory health assessments for Bedfordshire and Luton children in care, and request them for Bedfordshire and Luton children in care placed in other counties.
Referrals are only received from the local authority.
