Welcome to our service
We are a specialist health team working in Central Bedfordshire. We help families from the Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities who have children aged 0 to 19.
Vaccines and immunisations
Vaccines and immunisations are really important to your baby's health and wellbeing. They can seem scary but they protect against lots of deadly diseases.
We talked to a mum from a Traveller community about her thoughts and feelings on vaccines and immunisations.
For more information, speak to your GP or health visitor.
The following playlist features a series of short animations with key information on vaccinations related to maternity, childhood, measles, and whooping cough. This series of films were co-developed and co-produced with people from Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities and in partnership with the UK Health Security Agency and Roma Support Group.
